Refunds and cancellations
This policy covers fees for professional ESG reporting audit preparation engagements with Innovatechs. It does not apply to products we do not sell.
Eligibility
Refunds apply only to fees paid for Innovatechs professional engagements (such as readiness reviews, framework mapping, inventory walkthroughs, and board pack coaching) under a signed engagement letter. Website inquiries themselves carry no charge.
Timeframe to request
Refund or cancellation requests should be emailed to hello@innovatechs.digital within 14 days of payment for unused prepaid sessions, or as soon as practicable when cancelling a fixed-fee engagement before kickoff.
Full refund
A full refund of amounts paid is available if you cancel in writing before the agreed kickoff date and before we have accessed your document room or begun substantive review. Deposits for engagements cancelled under these conditions are returned in full.
Partial refund
If work has started — including document room setup, gap inventory, or completed working sessions — fees are adjusted for work already performed at the rates in the engagement letter. The unused portion of a fixed fee may be refunded after deducting completed stages. Day-rate or session fees for sessions already delivered are not refundable.
Non-refundable items
- Completed working sessions and delivered readiness memos
- Third-party costs pre-approved in writing (for example specialized translation of binder materials) once incurred
- Change-order work already performed
Refund process
Email the engagement reference, payment date, and reason for the request. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within 14 business days of confirmation.
Refund method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method or corporate bank account used for the invoice, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule working sessions with at least five business days’ notice at no additional fee once per engagement. Later reschedules may incur a rescheduling charge stated in the engagement letter. Innovatechs may reschedule for illness or force majeure and will offer alternative dates promptly.
Deposits
Readiness reviews typically require a 40% deposit. The deposit is applied to the final fee. It is refundable under the full-refund conditions above and otherwise credited against completed work.
No-shows
If client attendees miss a booked session without notice, that session is treated as delivered for billing purposes. We will offer one courtesy reschedule when notice is given at least one business day ahead.
Work already started
Once gap inventory or document review has begun, cancellation triggers a partial settlement for time spent, capped at the engagement fee.
Exceptions
If Innovatechs cannot deliver the agreed engagement for reasons within our control, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work or a revised timeline at no extra fee. Statutory rights under Taiwan law that cannot be waived remain available.
